Palm Springs is a modern paradise with gorgeous springtime weather. And we love it!
From the moment we arrived on Wednesday, the sun has shone bright and warmed away the winter blues of early spring in Edmonton.
Leigh-Anne and I took a tour around town yesterday with Robert – a local authority in mid-century modern architecture in Palm Springs. We saw some wonderful homes and buildings and learned a bit about the history and evolution of the city. More about Robert later…
Back at the ranch, we have been sorting through some minor pool and spa issues, but it hasn’t interfered much with our enjoyment of the backyard.

A family that spas together

Ben and Ella have been swimming, playing DS, drawing and working on their tans. Maddy has been reading and reading and reading. And listening to her ipod.
And, true to form, Benny found himself having a too-close encounter with a bedside table on the first morning. The resulting cut and golf ball sized swelling was tended to by Grandma long before we awoke. Apparently, it looked way worse than this a couple of hours earlier. Poor little monkey.
But the most fun was had by all in the hot tub spa where we ended up after a Shabbat dinner on the patio.
Lots of activities are planned for the coming days. Watch for updates.

Hi Guys – glad to see you are having a blast in Palm Springs. My email is not working in South America so here is my temporary Millerjamesmichael@google.ca. We were gauchos today horseback riding across the lone pampas. The weather is postcard perfect and the food amazing.
cheers
James
